Introduction
The Department of Botany is one of the oldest departments of the college. Besides providing quality teaching, the department has taken significant initiatives in the field of research. The department offers a 3-year B.Sc. degree course and a 4-semester M.Sc. degree course with intake capacities of 128 and 100 students, respectively.
